With 2.3 ton payload and 5.29-ton gross weight, the CityCat V20 delivers an outstanding load capacity for excellent sweep performance while offering an unmatched combination of articulated steering and a state-of-the-art diesel engine.
Low-emission engine
The CityCat V20 comes with a smooth-running, economical diesel engine that delivers demand-driven performance and therefore guarantees low fuel consumption and emission values. The sweeper is also available with a Tier 4 Final emission standard engine. Thanks to a low-polluting diesel engine with controlled hydrostatic drive, AdBlue, and exhaust gas after-treatment system, the 2.6 yd³ (2 m³) compact sweeper meets the stringent emission standard and at the same time delivers all the power needed.
Class leading maneuverability
Tried and true articulated steering provides exceptional agility, manouverability and maximum directional stability, allowing the driver to concentrate fully on sweeping without worrying about manouvering. Articulated steering combined with the front brush means that the vehicle can efficiently and cost-effectively clean everything from the narrowest of passages to the largest of areas.
Comfort and safety
The all-new ergonomically designed, Rollover Protection Structure (ROPS) tested cab and the single wheel suspension ensure a unique driving experience. Easy use of the sweeper is provided by a simple, one-hand operation concept. The Smart-Con control system supported by the CSense touch-display invites the driver into a new, intuitive world of operation in which the driver can focus on the work in front of him and the operation becomes secondary.
Stainless Steel Hoppers
Bucher Municipal is the pioneering street sweeper manufacturer to offer as standard hoppers totally constructed – not just lined – of 1.4003 stainless steel – the very best for this application. Our sweepers provide 250-times better corrosion resistance than standard or even 304 stainless steel.
